Downstream Connections
We can comprehensively and safely manage the removal of gas or electricity meters and associated pipework if required. We can arrange the disconnection of the downstream pipework, meter asset and the incoming supply, or we can coordinate our visits with any other relevant third parties.
Any removed meter will normally be removed from the site and be made available to its owner in accordance with MAMCoP requirements.

- Full excavation of the existing underground pipework
- MDPE connections
- The installation of medium density polyethylene piping to connect all relevant appliances to the meter installation

- The installation of steel pipework between the meter installation and appliances
- Reinstatement
- Full reinstatement of disturbed groundworks and relight of existing appliances as required
